Email Communications

If you have registered your details on our website to receive email communications from us, we may use your contact details to send you newsletters, marketing emails or invitations to HMC Floor coverings events, which may be of interest to you. However, you may at any time opt out of receiving such materials by clicking on the unsubscribe link on the bottom of any communication. Upon receiving such a request, HMC Floor coverings will remove your contact details from our distribution lists.


Refund Policy

  • You may return the rug/item [in as purchased condition ] with price tag still attached for a full refund (refunds exclude all freight charges)
  • You may also exchange the rug/item for one of similar value [ all freight costs would be charged to you ]
  • Refunds do not apply to rugs that have been Teflon coated
  • No refund will apply to cut length hall runners
  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery that you will be returning the rug/item
  • Returns must be rolled and packaged securely – similar to the way they arrive
  • All freight costs will be payable by the purchaser [ including return costs ]
  • All rugs returned must show no signs of wear or use
  • HMC Floor coverings reserves the right to refuse a refund on any rug/item returned which is not in its original condition
  • We offer a full refund of payment if goods are not available to be shipped within 10 working days
  • Please always roll rugs, do not fold rugs
  • All reasonable care must be taken to avoid any damage.


If you believe your rug/item is faulty, wrongly described, or varies from the sample shown you must notify us within 2 days of delivery (colour variation may be present due to screen resolution)

  • Before we can make comment or authorise any action we will require a photo and a description of the fault sent to our email address
  • At our discretion, we may return the rug/item to our suppliers where it may be repaired or replaced based on the fault
  • HMC Floor coverings will cover all freight costs relating to the authorised return of a faulty rug/item
  • All returns require a copy of purchase receipt, confirmation of date and purchase price.

 Please note the following

  • Rugs/items may vary in colour and look different to the photos   shown on our web site
  • Some rugs may shed excess fibre when first used
  • Not all dyes used in the manufacture of rugs are UV resistant and some fading may occur over a period of time

How to return your item

  • Do not return rug/item/s unless authorised by HMC Flooring
  • Send an email to sales@hmcflooring.com.au with photo(s) and a description of the fault[s]
  • As soon as the rug/item to be returned has been received, a replacement product will be shipped or re-ordered.
  • All returns require a copy of purchase receipt, confirmation of date and purchase price.

Although it is not a requirement we suggest that you insure any rug/item you wish to return, as we will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit


  • All rugs/items must be returned within (14) fourteen days of the Notice to Return has been issued.
  • Replacement product will only be shipped after the faulty rug/item has been received by HMC Floor coverings
  • Any rugs/items that are returned to HMC Floor Coverings without authorisation will be returned to sender at the sender’s expense
  • If you feel that your return falls outside HMC Floor Coverings policy, then you will need to confirm with HMC Floor coverings [in writing ] that the return can be accepted.

Discontinued Items

Please note that discontinued items cannot be returned, as they are offered at a greatly reduced price and will not be restocked.


Payment & Delivery


HMC Floor Coverings will accept payment using any of the following methods:

PayPal: Australia’s favourite way to pay online. PayPal is a fast, easy and safe way to make payments online and on your mobile phone.

Direct deposit: contact HMC Floor Coverings for details.

Payment in full must be received before orders are dispatched.


Due to the large volume of rugs/items that we sell there may be a 2-4 day processing time to process any orders, to pick and organise shipping.


Our delivery time for Australian destinations (once processed) is between 3 and 12 working days depending on the destination and what your delivery requirements are. If there are any unexpected delays we will advise you as soon as we are aware of a delay and keep you updated with the status of your order. Unfortunately we are unable to ship any rugs/items internationally.

Delivery address must be a physical address where consignment can be signed for.

Delivery method: In store pickup

All rugs/ items in stock will be available for pick up after 3 working days. This will allow us time to process your order. Once your order has been processed we will notify you that your rug/s or item/s are ready for pick up. Rugs and or items can only be picked up during HMC Floor Coverings trading hours: Mon – Fri 9:00 – 5:00 Saturday morning (only by prior arrangement).

In store returns: Contact us within 48 hours or delivery/ pick up and abide by all relevant above conditions. (Unauthorised returns will be refused)


Shipping Charges

We ship via “Couriers Please”.

The shopping cart will calculate the flat rate shipping cost.

Tax Invoice

An itemised Tax Invoice is included in each shipment. All prices quoted are GST inclusive.
