Returns

Refund Policy

  • You may return the rug/item in as purchased condition(refunds exclude all freight charges)
  • You may also exchange the rug/item for one of similar value [ all freight costs would be charged to you ]
  • No refund will apply to cut length hall runners unless faulty
  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery that you will be returning the rug/item
  • Returns must be rolled and packaged securely – similar to the way they arrive
  • All freight costs will be payable by the purchaser [ including return costs ]
  • All rugs returned must show no signs of wear or use
  • HMC Floor coverings reserves the right to refuse a refund on any rug/item returned which is not in its original condition
  • We offer a full refund of payment if goods are not available to be shipped within 10 working days
  • Please always roll rugs, do not fold rugs
  • All reasonable care must be taken to avoid any damage.

Faults/Misdescribed

If you believe your rug/item is faulty, wrongly described, or varies from the sample shown you must notify us within 2 days of delivery (colour variation may be present due to screen resolution)

  • Before we can make comment or authorise any action we will require a photo and a description of the fault sent to our email address
  • At our discretion, we may return the rug/item to our suppliers where it may be repaired or replaced based on the fault
  • HMC Floor coverings will cover all freight costs relating to the authorised return of a faulty rug/item
  • All returns require a copy of purchase receipt, confirmation of date and purchase price.

 Please note the following

  • Rugs/items may vary in colour and look different to the photos   shown on our web site
  • Some rugs may shed excess fibre when first used
  • Not all dyes used in the manufacture of rugs are UV resistant and some fading may occur over a period of time

How to return your item

  • Do not return rug/item/s unless authorised by HMC Flooring
  • Send an email to sales@hmcflooring.com.au with photo(s) and a description of the fault[s]
  • As soon as the rug/item to be returned has been received, a replacement product will be shipped or re-ordered.
  • All returns require a copy of purchase receipt, confirmation of date and purchase price.

Although it is not a requirement we suggest that you insure any rug/item you wish to return, as we will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit

Important

  • All rugs/items must be returned within (14) fourteen days of the Notice to Return has been issued.
  • Replacement product will only be shipped after the faulty rug/item has been received by HMC Floor coverings
  • Any rugs/items that are returned to HMC Floor Coverings without authorisation will be returned to sender at the sender’s expense
  • If you feel that your return falls outside HMC Floor Coverings policy, then you will need to confirm with HMC Floor coverings [in writing ] that the return can be accepted.
